Garlic: Can it be used to help treat cancer?

This interesting article looks at garlic’s ability to protect us from cancer. Research has been in progress since 1958, and even the World Health Organization recommends routinely consuming garlic in order to reduce our risk of cancer. The article looks at the many stages at which garlic interferes with cancer development. But once tumor cells have spread throughout the body, it is much more difficult to treat a patient’s cancer. This is why one recent study is considered unprecedented. Mice with a very aggressive sarcoma type cancer which had already spread, were completely cured by an injection of raw garlic extract. This type of cancer is so aggressive that it has not been treated successfully by any existing type of chemotherapy. All the treated and cured mice showed no signs of any adverse side effects.
